Stanislav Darchinov, Chief Technical Officer of Kazan branch of STEP LOGIC, and Vadim Kalle, Deputy Head of the Engineering Systems Design Unit at STEP LOGIC, will make presentations at the international applied science conference "Digital Transformation of Production and Non-Production Spheres" that will take place in Kazan on December 21.

During a round table "Digital Transformation of Non-Production Sphere", Stanislav Darchinov will present STEP SOC, a comprehensive information security solution by STEP LOGIC, as well as talk about the procedure for meeting the requirements of Federal Law No. 187 "On the Security of the Critical Information Infrastructure of the Russian Federation". It should be noted that the integrated STEP SOC solution, in addition to the services of a traditional Security Operation Centre (SOC), also offers a Network Operation Centre (NOC) service, a system for monitoring the infrastructure of networks, servers, services, applications as well as Business Intelligence tools. In addition, in order to help organisations dealing with the critical information infrastructure and network security elements, STEP LOGIC has developed a methodology for categorising critical information infrastructure facilities. The document contains a detailed action plan, cases, a series of questions and answers, as well as templates of necessary documents that will help organisations independently determine the significance category of the critical information infrastructure objects and meet a part of legal requirements.

At the round table "Digital Transformation of the Production Sphere", Vadim Kalle will talk about innovative solutions for the design of data processing centres, buildings and structures such as: building information modelling, laser 3D scanning and CFD modelling of heat processes. The participants will see the examples of their successfully implemented projects, share their experience in using BIM and CFD technologies in various high thermal capacity facilities, and describe the full work cycle, from a sketch to the visualisation of three-dimensional temperature and velocity fields. Using these solutions helps STEP LOGIC to improve the quality and accuracy of design, shortens the construction time, and saves money because they purchase only the necessary materials. Analysis of the first BIM-projects in Russia showed that the use of BIM was responsible for an average 10% reduction in construction time and a 30% reduction in construction cost.

The conference will be held at the A. Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University and will be supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Academy of Informatisation of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants will include the heads of republican ministries and companies in production, construction, energy, trade, education, healthcare as well as representatives of IT companies.
