Structured cable networks (SCN) are the backbone of any modern telecommunication system. It’s a multipurpose information-carrying medium combining Local Area Networks, Telephony networks, Information Security systems, Video surveillance and etc.
Authorized participant of the International Association of BICSI Cable Integrators, STEP LOGIC obtains Russian State Construction Committee license and renders a full range of services on cable systems’ installation and maintenance.
All the operations are carried out by our highly-qualified certified engineers. STEP LOGIC warranty on cabling functioning is valid for 15 years.

Audit
STEP LOGIC specialists diagnose deficiencies and weak points of Customer’s computer network and suggest the ways to eliminate them.
The audit is followed with detailed analytical report and changes in cable system and in configuration settings of baseband equipment. Monitoring system controlling network’s functionality is implemented as well.
Pre-design inventory
At this stage STEP LOGIC experts help the Customer to clearly understand its needs and collect required information on future cabling design:- List of the automation objects with their layouts,
- Engineering status of automation objects (existence of a suspended ceiling, wall thickness, ceilings height, climatic control and premises footage);
- Engineering status of existing cable infrastructure and technical documentation (if any);
- Existing plans (or projects) for telecommunication infrastructure subsystems and communication systems development.
- Time frames;
- Number of network segments;
- Network topology;
- Office appearance;
- Network integration with interrelated subsystems;
- Equipment to be supplied.
After pre-design inspection STEP LOGIC project managers draw up Project Plan (it usually takes from 1 up to 7 business days). This Plan includes the detailed information on time frames and estimated budget of the project.
Design
A SCN project is always based on Technical requirement agreed with the Customer. Technical requirement should consist of:- Floor plans of the building;
- Estimated number of workplaces (ports) and plans for future network expansion;
- Category of the requested cable network.
If Customer has some difficulties in preparing Technical requirement or Scope of Work (SoW) STEP LOGIC technical experts offer their help and assistance. It takes our Technical Department from 3 up to 21 business days to draw up the design of network layout.
Building or Installation
Highly-qualified STEP LOGIC engineers professionally perform installation of cable infrastructure in full accordance with project documentation. Work schedule is agreed with the Customer and meets all his requirements.
It does not mean for us how large the project is, we are ready to realize it with the utmost diligence and individual approach to each Client.
Certification
Among all the other benefits we offer 15 year warranty for SCN operation. It comes into effect after network certification. That is why cable networks commissioning always implies acceptance test of the installed cabling.
Technical experts perform cabling conformance inspection to ISO 11801 international standard. Each network port is to be examined and certified. Tests’ results are properly documented and presented in certification list.

All certification documents should be drawn up in writing and certified under the official seal of the enterprise and signatures of the responsible authorities. Apart from certification documents our specialists provide the Customer with recommendations on network operation to ensure its high reliability and effectiveness.
Maintenance and support
After cabling installation and certification STEP LOGIC is ready to perform the post-project maintenance and support:- STEP LOGIC technical experts are able to provide the Customer with qualified services and recommendations on further network development and extension;
- STEP LOGIC engineers are ready to promptly come at the Customer’s site with all the required equipment for network testing and troubleshooting process;
- STEP LOGIC specialists can offer consulting services on new standards, equipment compatibility, ways for system performance optimization and etc.
