STEP LOGIC Looks at Results of Participation in Cisco Connect 2019

STEP LOGIC took part in Cisco Connect 2019, the largest ICT forum in the CIS, which was held on 26–27 March at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. STEP LOGIC demonstrated three solutions for digital transformation of business, industrial production enterprises, as well as construction and design in the Cisco World of Solutions demo zone.

In the Internet of Things exhibition area, STEP LOGIC presented solutions in the field of industrial safety and occupational health based on the unified IoT platform Cisco Kinetic and RFID technology from PCT-Invent: a system for monitoring the use of a set of personal protective equipment (PPE), a collision avoidance system at industrial facilities, etc.

Using RFID solutions, the customer receives comprehensive information on how his/her staff use workwear and PPE kits. If an employee is missing even one item of personal protective equipment required by their job specification, an alarm is raised. The collision avoidance system at industrial facilities allows eliminating the collision of vehicles with employees.

STEP LOGIC's BIM modelling and VR (Virtual Reality) solutions also aroused great interest among visitors and participants at Cisco Connect 2019. Visitors to the booth could see the virtual platform of the logistics centre project implemented by STEP LOGIC, take a stroll through its territory, go along the illuminated directional signs and get into the server room with a complete model of engineering infrastructure and a local computing system based on Cisco equipment.
