Step Logic and OpenLink have signed a contract outlining the terms of cooperation in the field of sales, installation and professional support for security and service benefits for OpenLink Financial Inc. (OLF).
With the signing of the contract, Step Logic and OpenLink begin a new stage of OLF software advancement in both the energy and financial markets of Russia and the CIS.
OpenLink's program development has a solid history of successful application all over the world. Particular areas of strength include: business activity control and risk management for energy companies in the spheres of raw materials extraction, natural gas, products adaptation, metals, determinations of weather conditions and emissions (for example СО2), logistics, storage and industrial resources allocation, support for the development process and control of the schedule of registration for natural raw materials or the electric power, and corporate capacity optimization. Implementation and usage of OpenLink software allows companies to optimize their performance in current operations and trade in cash. It also simplifies both intermediate and long-term planning and control over contract execution at commodities exchanges.
Step Logic has already begun negotiations with potential clients regarding the new project with OpenLink.
"The conclusion of this partnership agreement with OpenLink will allow us to expand our offerings to areas such as fuel and energy complex and the financial sector. This will provide our customers more integrated possibilities for the optimization of their business by IT means," said S.V. Sadle, General Director of Step Logic.
"We see great potential in Russia and the CIS, as they continue to be reshaped and evolve. Market participants will require strong partners with proven track records to help them maneuver through these challenging dynamics. We look forward to working with Step Logic to bring our client-focused, responsive technology to the region leveraging their experience in IT project management and local expertise," said Dr. Markus Seiser, Managing Director, OpenLink Central Europe.
